"you don't need a passport to go to london!"

Today my mom announces to my brother that a few of us are going to London over the time off i have around thanksgiving. Naturally, upon hearing this my brother states that he also wants to go. Discussion about passport renewal ensues. I hear my mom say, "i don't think you need a passport to go to london."

"yeah, because they speak english there!" I say, mockingly.

I guess that's what happens when you're raised south of I-80.
