official announcement/warning

saturday we're having a party at my house - but don't come before nine unless you want to check out the latest sex toys on the market. that's right. i forgot to check the calendar and i planned (well, planned is used quite loosely here as i just decided saturday that we're definitely doing it) a party for the same night that my MOM is having one of "those" parties. there seems to be a trend among people her age to have these sex toy parties - first it was at one of her old friend's, then at another's, and now here. she invited me to go to one - i was like, um no thanks mom. sure, maybe if it were ONLY people my age there NOT related to me. anyhow we decided that her party would be contained in the living room while mine will be contained in the kitchen. her thing is supposed to start at seven - so i figure that by nine all the toys will have already been displayed and hidden again. this is going to be interesting...
