on hold

i just can't bring myself to write right now when there are so many blogs to catch up on and then pilates and trying yoga... maybe i'm going to cut some cardio or find something that won't make me bulk up (when i'm in shape my thighs are powerful and you can see it because they get bigger) because i noticed this on friday: my skinny jeans were tight specifically there... imagine that, jeans, tight, ON ME!

but oh, the tales i have to tell: the bilingual second graders' take on their futures (cuando sea adulto yo quiero...); feeling like the belle of the ball on saturday; the freak heat and then freaking cold; pill-pushers and dysthymia and lighting up when i talk of south america; etc, etc.

but once again i will refer to my no.1 pet peeve: singularizing team names! it happened again today! someone ACTUALLY SAID i didn't think he was a CUB player anymore. it's CUBS PLAYER and if you don't feel comfortable saying it, say A PLAYER FOR THE CUBS!
