have not been blogging much because have been very busy. working for my temp agency (yes, they like me that much) till the end of the summer.

received results for my spanish language proficiency test.

i received a score of 92. passing score was 70. illinois needs higher standards.

was impressed with the fact that i received 100 on the written part. must demand higher rates for translation. according to the state, my writing is perfect.

a little dismayed, but not surprized to have gotten an 85 on spoken. not that i can't speak the language, but imagine this setup: you are at a small table directly across from a stranger in a lout echo-ey room and you two are the only ones in there. this person doesn't even have any idea what you're saying in your said foreign language. so you have five minutes to prepare and then two minutes to speak on the given topic. all the while you are approximately fourteen inches away from a stranger's face. keep that in mind.

i called my boss to brag a little.

now, must sleep. i am in sleep debt. i just like to read; i can't bring myself to go to sleep because i don't want to, not because i can't.

am reading Let them eat prozac: the unhealthy relationship between the pharmaceutical industry and depression. very interesting.
