inflamada en buenos aires

it´s really nice to be able to go down to the corner pharmacy and buy straight-up amoxicilin for like 11 pesos. in the US, you need a doctor´s appointment, then they need to do the tests, then have your insurance company (if you have insurance) charged hundreds of dollars for a z-pack that doesn´t start to work for a week.

sure, handing out prescription meds without the necessary prescription is probably illegal, but being the foreigner that i am, i do not have a doctor. plus, i have that "strep breath" that you can always recognize on the kids when they come to close to you, that doesn´t go away when you brush your teeth.

ugh and i´m like a horse with strangles! the glands on my neck are all swollen and inflamed and it hurts to swallow. all this talking has made me light-headed. i´m going to go take a nap.

take a bath... and, wrap a hot towel around your head.
wrap a hot towel around my head?

Hey Miss E,

Sorry to read you're not feeling well, especially in this heat. Anyways, I just found your blog through Robert's line of sight, and found it quite entertaining. Keep the stories coming and enjoy your time in BsAs.
