good cashmere chocolate!

it's amazing how much work can be accomplished by a doer, a thinker, an over-talker who conveniently keeps leaving the room, and a submissive person. things are changing in third grade! well, in 2/3 of it at least. i will now do reading groups strictly in english, and mrs. v will do them strictly in spanish. this will make everything oh so much easier. fourth grade wasn't so much in agreement. they just saw it as a lot of extra work that they would have to do. this is something that should have been done in september.

am so exhausted. fortunately i had my volunteer do most of the grading and help me with getting the work organized for tomorrow. that was a load off my shoulders. the only homework i assigned myself was to put papers in sheet protectors and put those sheet protectors in a binder. and i accomplished it!

would love to write more meaningful lines here, such as how good chocolate is good chocolate no matter how many temperature changes it has experienced; it may have a slightly different consistency than its original, but it still retains its velvety taste (pardon the cliche but i could think of no other word to describe it other than silky and that is cliched as well) i mean, it still retains its cashmere taste and melts in one's mouth nonetheless. good chocolate does this. that is the difference between good quality chocolate and the kind you might buy at the gas station.
