Mrs G told me today at lunch, well if he's already 32 and hasn't been married, he's either really picky or he has issues or your are his mistress. (ok, i added that part about the mistress).

so today i asked him. because Mrs G had told me the story of a chilean girl who met this canadian guy on the internet, they moved in together, and he murdered her. so i was a little scared.

so how did he get so "old" without becoming semi-permanently attached to someone? this tidbit isn't really something that strikes me as odd - we've already had the conversation and we can cound on five fingers (between us) the number of friends we have who got married young and are now divorced. and anyway i made it through all of high school without having a real boyfriend (of course i also made it through high school without learning how to appreciate my figure and dress it appropriately... i'm a late bloomer, what can i say?)

i asked him what his issues were. first was that he is very picky. well we've got that one resolved, don't we? just so long as you don't gain any weight! (ok i added that part) me gustan las flaquitas he said.

of course i had to share one of mine... i have a hard time "letting go" (yes yes i know it's clicheed but i'm unwilling to give it any higher-order thought b/c it's monday afternoon and I DON'T FEEL LIKE IT!) and trusting people.

so i thought of my next one: i am very proud. (like when i REFUSED to be the mistress to JPB's odd situation).
