bring out the table skirts!!!

i would have known this beforehand because i saw it on the today show, and usually the news stories i read online come a day before they're mentioned on morning shows.

anyway. this is what i gathered:

• an art teacher with a 28-year career


• took 5th graders to the Dallas Museum of Art (as she has been doing for a while)


• mom complains to school that her daughter was offended by a nude statue


• should we mention, the infamous museum visit took place in april?


• teacher has found herself suspended


• the administration's reason for her suspension was: a history of poor performance


• are you kidding me? that is clear BS (you know, the kind you can see through.) poor performing teachers do not have 28-year carreers

is the leader of the school board there named Victoria? bring out the table skirts (cover up the tables' naked legs! ooh they are offensive!!! naked legs of inanimate objects! most offensive!)

there's some serious PRUDE going on here! my boyfriend asked me last night, "what is prudishness?" how fabulous that i have a real-life example!
