insulation weekend

ew, i looked up scabies - those things actually make tunnels under the surface of your skin and lay eggs and leave feces in said tunnels! disgusting! however, they do not transmit as easily as lice; you would have to be wearing the clothing of an infected person to catch it. so maybe it wasn't necessary to inform the entire school, but the staff should be aware of these things. also, there is a rumor that ringworm is in one of the classrooms. i know THAT IS highly contaigous. the staff should be kept abreast of these parasites.

well, i have decided that due to the unsatisfactory condition of the skin on my face and the pain in my back, i am doing nothing this weekend but watching movies. i went to the library after work and rented a bunch of movies. i've never taken advantage of the fact that you can rent DVDs from the library for free for a week! and up to five at a time! and, the library usually has a much wider selection of foreign films than your average ignorant snob btown blockbuster (they don't even have a section for foreign films - i've looked!). the only problem with the library is that the DVDs are in alphabetical order, and not arranged by categories. so you have to know what you're looking for before you get there. but anyway, it's free so you can't expect so much.

and i will be attempting to put on a layer of insulation. tomorrow i will put up the plastic-y stuff on my windows, in an attempt to insulate my room. tonight i will eat full fat mint chocolate chip ice cream with chocolate magic shell on top in an attempt to insulate my body. i have to build up my fat stores for the long winter.
