according to NBC this evening, only 17% of people between the ages of 18 and 29 voted in the presidential election of 2000. in 2004, again only 17% of people in this age group voted. WTF? HAS NOTHING CHANGED IN THE LAST FOUR YEARS? i am ashamed. we are the people who are supposed to care, we are the people upon whom this will have long-term effects. WE are the ones with our heads in our asses! How different this could have been if more people my age cared! 17% is freaking pathetic. widespread stupidity is the word of the night. i am so ashamed.
