this afternoon four of the aides (there are eight of us) received an email from The Principal inviting their participation in a meeting tomorrow morning. one of the aides told the rest of us that she spoke briefly with The Principal about the topic of said meeting, and that it had something to do with 2nd grade support services. does The Principal have a clue what is going on with the aides at her school? first of all, I WORK WITH 2ND GRADE! you would think that if it concerned 2nd grade i would be invited to participate. Secondly, two of the aides invited DO NOT SEE SECOND GRADERS AT ALL! i said, well i'll go anyway. but when i came inside after all the kids went home, Nancy at the desk said, oh miss e? don't go to the meeting tomorrow, whatever the boss says goes. but the rest of the aides there will mention in the meeting that you work with second grade if it comes up. does The Principal have any idea who is doing what at her school? something smells rotten here...
