i saw the documentary "mad hot ballroom." you know, the one about the fifth graders and the ten-week ballroom dancing program that ends in a competition. i'm not usually one to use these words, but awww it's such a feel-good movie. all the kids are so cute and it makes me regret not taking ballroom dancing classes when my mom suggested it. i mean what a good way to instill manners and cooperation and all that stuff in kids. i guess i just love dance. though i have to disagree with "ballroom's" rendition of the tango. there is only one tango and the ballroom version is the dumbed-down robotic boring version. the only tango is the one that originated in the brothels of buenos aires... capital-s society had to reformulate it, so what you see in the ballroom is the salon-friendly version. but real tango is so much better and much more fun to dance.

The thing thats so hysterical about dancing lessons when you're growing up as a boy, is that you think they are the worst idea ever until you realise when you're in your 20s, thats a damn clever idea.
