job complaint no. 2

they have to stop giving us so many days off. it has been a few weeks since we have had a complete ten-day paycheck. this week we had monday off, and the week before last we had thursday and friday off. having a long weekend all the time like this makes me really lethargic and reluctant to go back to work. i do, of course, but feel so tired because i am already so used to doing nothing. next time will require more planning; maybe i will plan to visit some out of state friends for the next long weekend. have to find out when that is - the next i can think of is thanksgiving and i'm going to london for that one. i won't start doing a countdown yet...

results of our school's election: kerry won, with 65% of all votes. i heard this morning that grade school elections are good indicators of the results of the real thing... we'll see tonight (hopefully)!

taking a break from social interactions and possible romances... it stopped raining (argentine) men, and north americans are so hard to work with so i am taking a break. plus my face is still in no condition to make any new first impressions... still has me looking like a teenager. what is going on?

tonight after tutoring i'm going to alumni club to catch up with my friends, and then we are going to one of their houses for an election-day bash... watching the election results coverage together with bottles of malibu, concha y toro carmenere, and probably jack daniels. woo-hoo!

con eso me despido, hasta luego... espero que maƱana tengamos un nuevo presidente.
