disclaimer

i have a habit of innocently stumbling upon girlfriends, wives, etc. and innocently getting people fired. i mean, not intentionally. so to generalize, i have a habit of unintentionally getting people into trouble.

so i'm hoping the geometry teacher does not get in trouble because of me. but i had had it up to HERE! meaning, she doesn't respond to my emails, nor to my HAND-WRITTEN NOTES! i have asked her for more material repeatedly and i have not received any. so i am kind of winging it with Rob, the boy i tutor. he has one quiz left. once that quiz is over with, i have no more material for him because she has not told me what else they have been doing.

last friday i called the woman in the guidance department who is in charge of the homebound tutors and explained the situation. because rob qualifies for homebound tutoring, it is his right to get the same curriculum as his fellow students, except at the rate of one hour per subject per week he is out of school. i have only been given the material for the first FOUR WEEKS of the semester, nothing more. after writing the teacher my little note asking for MORE MATERIAL PLEASE! and sending it off with my mom (she works at the high school and gives the teacher rob's assignments), hoping to get some kind of response, i asked my mom when she got home if the teacher had said anything or sent any form of communication. she said that the teacher is having a problem with the system, she doesn't think it's right that he receive credit for the course if he isn't there to participate in the class.

i explained this to the woman in charge. she said she would talk to the head of the guidance department to figure out what is going on and what must be done. i am expecting to hear from her in the next few days.
