miss e, le proffesseur?

i'll make this short and sweet because i am exhausted and really, really want to put away my clean clothes (for anyone keeping track: it has taken me nearly a week to finish my laundry.)

got a call from the HR person at the district for which i interviewed; they offered my job. am beginning to realize how well teachers have it in my current school district. i get paid for being in an HMO. the other district would require i pay around $60 a month for it. and the copays for prescriptions are higher (but not too much.)

i told them i would need until tuesday to decide. i am very close to leaning towards yes because at least i'll have the chance to be something. i've always just assisted people who were something.

and wether i could handle a third grade class? time will tell but i know i am a hard worker, a fast learner, and very motivated to do the best possible job.

honestly i can't believe they actually offered me the job. i have no experience. i'm kind of freaked out. but can you imagine me, miss e, a third-grade teacher? third grade was like when my life started - it was when we moved to BH and i switched schools and became the shy withdrawn girl i was until the end of high school. arrgh, i'll have to talk to my boss and ask if she knows of any bilingual positions that will be opening up in-district. arrrrrgh.
