show and tell/face dropping

today i received the physics dept. newsletter from my university. on the front page were these three guys (physicists, of course, so i didn't date any of them). one of them was wearing a bow tie. i recognized him. my 1st and 2nd years at university, back when swing dancing was still "cool" or "acceptable," depending on how you look at it, i distinctly remember dancing with him a number of times. why? 1) because he told me he was studying physics also and 2) the bow tie.

so i think i'm going to bring the newsletter in to my class, show them the front page, and say i used to dance with this guy! hopefully it will inspire high ambitions to be nobel laureates in their young minds.

ok so i have to say, i'm getting a kick out of this site meter thing. what's the best is checking out the referring pages; somebody was searching for "girl's gauchos" and landed on my site. another person (who i probably know) searched for "skinnygirl JCP." i know who you are! just admit it!

anyway, like a good girl should, i drank with my parents while watching the superbowl yesterday.
