that's right bitches, call it like it is

as i was driving home listening to NPR i heard that at least nbc is finally calling it what it is. someone who spoke on npr said that denying that what's going on in iraq is a civil war is like saying the war between the states was not a civil war b/c there wasn't any fighting in maine (at least that's what i understood).

it feels kind of like some spell has been broken. like the news media was under the lockstep spell and it had to use the same words that the white house used to talk about "conflict" in iraq.

is this the beginning of... networks that don't behave like tools?

and along the lines of bitches calling it like it is, I FUCKING HATE THE GODDAMN PHONE AT WORK. I SWEAR IT HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN BECAUSE EVERY TIME I TURN AROUND OR EVEN THINK OF LEAVING MY DESK THE GODDAMN THING SHOUTS AT ME. i just want first of all to strangle it and rip it from the desk, then DROP-KICK it with my BADDEST ASS shoes and WATCH IT SPLINTER INTO A MILLION PIECES!

i don't know how much longer i'm going to survive at my current post without losing my mind or turning into an evil people-hating bitch. i HATE answering the phone! fucking fucking fucking fucking hate it.


*************after reading the above linked article i have learned that (apparently) fox news channel stopped saying "suicide bombers" in favor of "homicide bombers." good lawd could i actually agree with them on this point? that's a topic for a whole other post which i really care not to broach*************
