today is the nineteenth of january. it's like a double purple day.
wtf? yes, i associate colors with things like numbers, months, sometimes days of the week, letters, etc. january has always been a purple month, and the nunber nineteen for some reason is purple.
thirteen is pink and white - the top half is white with a zig-zag border with the pink on the bottom, always outlined in black.

I think of 44 as green with pink and yellow polka dots. or something like that. Anyways, I'm reading 100 Years of Solitude right now and I thought of you. I really like it and was wondering if you have any of Gabriel Garcia Marquez's books, in English or Spanish.
I had a friend who used to assign letters of the alphabet genders - it was a little disconcerting, to say the least - But I like the colors for numbers - I always see names in color, too - like Ellen, for instance, is olive green
