oh lord i'm nauseous again. maybe i should turn off cspan. maybe i should ignore the rising numbers in recent days of links to disreputable (ok, questionable) news sources.
yes i am a little paranoid - what if i say the wrong thing and end up in guantanamo and labeled an "enemy combatant" MISTAKENLY and since the bill that they are debating in the senate has (hypothetically, I PRAY TO GOD) passed i can't see the evidence they have against me and so i must trust in my lawers, if i'm even allowed to have them, to argue my case of innocence. but since i (hypothetically; this won't happen) am a member of some activist group and have already been labeled an "enemy combatant".... will i even have a chance???
and NO, i have NOT been to ANY of the websites to which i have links that might be labelled in some political way, except for the BBC. which i consider to be sorta-independent (correct me if i'm wrong, please!) when i read that the piece of shit bill passed the house and a similar one would be debated in the senate i immediately turned on cspan.
in short: though i may lean one way or the other depending on the scent of the breeze that is blowing, I DON'T DRINK THE KOOL-AID AT EITHER PARTY. (this idea comes from a thought i had on sunday while watching 60 minutes... that condi is kind of interesting and seems intelligent, WHEN SHE'S NOT DRUNK ON KOOL-AID!)
good lawd i wish i had been this fascinated in high school as i am now.
i want to go pull the trigger by will alone i'm so nauseous listening to this guy.
when will they FORGET ABOUT goddamm POLITICS AND DO THEIR JOB? (ie, checks and balances; supporting the friggin CONSTITUTION?)
is there a party out there that is for independents who don't care about staying in power, whose mission is not to make their constituents and supporters happy but is to make sure the constitution is upheld?
no?
damn. time to start mixing my own kool-aid. har har.

I hear ya. They scare me too. I've been sending these guys emails and telling them exactly what I think. Oh well what are you going to do? It would be wrong to be quiet.
